The artillery should fire automatically
Having to mash the space button over and over gets old real fast. You should be able to just set the elevation and then focus on building droids without having to constantly press space over and over. Fun other than that, adding check points where troops can mass like in "Warfare: 1917" would add a lot to the strategy element too.
Great Game - Minor Tweaks Suggested
I can see where this could quickly become addictive. It's a good game as-is, and with a little more work it could be a classic.
It might be worthwhile to include a note about the recharge rate on the gun, and an indication of where the recharge meter is. It was probably pretty intuitive for most folks, but I sure missed it at first. Caused some amusing framming on the spacebar, though.
You may also consider adding a few more upgrades, or creating a tiered upgrade system if you have time. (Perhaps a recharge rate upgrade for the gun? Or unit upgrades? "Advanced Battle Droids", etc.)

I don't know why everyone's criticizing this game so much.
Yea there's a problem with the freeze bullet's power level + spreading freeze. And yea the high scores & endgame is a little off.
But all in all that was a f'ing well made game! Compare it to some of the top 'defender' games on Newgrounds and you'll find a lot of good similarities!
It's not that easy to make all the different battle effects he did in Flash CS3

(All that being said, I'm kinda curious how you calculate damage when enemies touch your soldiers)

i rather enjoyed this game
it was to easy at the start with hardly any money, and near about the second last world it got 2 hard with like 3 tanks 4 grenidears 3 planes all comeing at u at once
and in the first 1's it was like 2 every 20 secs
but all in all a great game
in the end i give this game a 9/10
