then it just gets old
you should make it so it starts easy with only regular grenades availble, and then have levels that get harder and harder, where you have to upgrade to get better bombs

Great, but...
Great fun, but many of the 'nades aren't very useful or cost too much to be used effectively. I found myself sticking to the impact nade just because it was easiest to use, faster than the rest and cheap. The rest can be fun, but they cost too much to use regularly. The cluster nade was cool, but they would bounce too high and whatever targets you had would be out of range before they landed. A little more balancing and this would be serious fun! Who doesn't love blowing shit up?!
