Reviews for "Hounds of Tindalos"

I temporarily lost the ability to even move the mouse and click buttons out of how awesome this is

I...

want more!

Schleif responds:

awesome, really glad you like it! if you want more, i got plenty of stuff uploaded haha

A smile appeared on my face at 0:18 :P

Little timing error at 0:04, it's deadly when you're playing solo.

The solo was somewhat... soft compared at the rest of the song. I would have expected something to compensate the guitar gone soloing (mabe harder drums???)

Other than that, pretty well executed!

Schleif responds:

thanks! yeah, i kind of rushed the whole solo part to be honest. on the other hand, i was kind of going for mor of a soft contrast to the rest of the song, but i definitely see what you mean. thanks a lot for the kind words!

Wow, Now this is some great stuff!
I don't believe my submission even compares. Ha ha.
Truthfully I'm not keen on the vocals but it flows so well that I cant complain one bit!
I actually like the solo. To me it breaks up the song so it's not so repetitive, I was just wanting to hear some sweeps. :(
Keep up the good work! I like this alot.

Schleif responds:

thanks very much! i gave your submission a listen, i think it sounds really solid!

Well, the lyrics aren't really that bad, but the singing sounds like you (Or whoever it is) is trying way to hard. The structure of the song is pleasant, the guitar riffs and all that other stuff, well done. Try to stray away from Metal. This is a very generic metal song and because of it, its not very enjoyable. Though I have to give you credit because I haven't heard of a song about the Hounds of Tindalos, and I did enjoy the book.

I would rate higher, but again, very generic.

Schleif responds:

stray away from metal? no way in hell. i'm sorry you find it generic, but then again, i'm not really trying to be all super original. i always did find that word overrated. i don't think music necessarily gets better because it hasn't been done before. i do however think it gets better by improving an existing concept. i just do what feels right for me, by making the kind of music i love. if i didn't, i'd never be making good music anyway.

thanks a lot for the review though! i'll try and get more creative with my stuff for sure!
