Reviews for "Mushroom Tower Defense"

An extremely unique game with lots of different tower types although the more you play you start to notice how over powered the sniper tower is, for those of you having trouble with the game (and according to these comments there are a lot of you having trouble) try getting a sniper tower as soon as possible and the rest is smooth sailing from there on out( well until level 4 which is where you have to think a lot more). I Find the music and sound effects a bit obnoxious but you have the option for removing them which is great. Fortunacus you have outdone yourself in making one of my favorite games in the tower defense genre with a superb amount of creativity and obvious effort put in to this gem. I'll play this before bloons tower defence any day!

i love it but frist lvl is allmost imposeble its to hard

It's incredibly difficult at the start. You are forced to spam normal stuff and you don't have the chance to buy gems or any upgrades. Once you do, you will still struggle to hold them back.

Good game its not to hard
whoever says the first level is to hard or he could not get trough it has never played a tower defence game

Pros:
-Very cute art style and effects
-I liked the SFX, although the beginning 'ACTION' was quite loud and sounded cut off
-Good idea
-I don't know of any other tower defense games that use elements, let alone combinations of such in the towers

Cons:
-Poor execution
-Way too hard (Never got past the first level)
-Music gets annoying very quickly (throw some more songs in?)
-Description errors (Thunder and wind elements are mixed up, Teardrop item says "Nullify element weakness" instead or "resistance")
-Enemies change weakness, element and behavior so it's impossible to strategize this way ahead of time
-Star badge is near useless and never around when it would be an actual benefit, but is a waste of an accessory slot either way
-Camera movement with mouse messed me up
-Items don't make much sense (ex: how does a bell increase effect duration? a star decrease upgrade price?)
-Confirmation on selling towers was a little annoying

Suggestions:
-Lower difficulty of first levels (Possibly awarding more money from enemies/advancing waves)
-Be consistent with elements and behaviors
-Fix typos
-Put buttons around the words so they are easier to click in a hurry
-Remove scrolling around with the mouse
-A story? It's not explained why you are using mushrooms to keep back enemies who are invading for seemingly no reason
