Reviews for "Inca Blocks"

it was a fun game
the 3 faces that need to close and open after everything got annoying fast

Its ok

I liked it, but i lost interest after level 2.

Interesting

It seems to remind me of that dragon monster feeder game, where the people had to stack blocks using a system almost exactly like this one and balance.

I still liked it though, except for the shift button being useless when you can just adjust the gravity of any object. Not to mention you would never fling something that hard on any level past 2 or 3. You would topple your blocks.

well...

normally i don't give out bad reviews but anytime i would roll the objects they would keep moving and when i changed gravity they went w/e way they wanted, also the shift key doesn't do anything special so i didn't know why it was used in this game. i gave you a four because you put a lot of work into it and i can see that in your graphics you might just wanna tweak the gravity and shift thing.

Good but not perfect.

I played a game very similar to this, it involved feeding big jellies to a hydra, those who have played that may understand what im coming from with this review.

I didn't get very far with this game, they aren't really my thing. However, it had some flaws that I didn't need to get so far to point out. This particular game is extremely sesitive to your block placement, it has to be right on the money, or it wont count it as in place. Be a bit more lenient, players dont want to spend all day nudging it over ever so slightly. What i really enjoyed about this game is the gravity altering, wich made getting the pieces to go where you wanted them to slightly easier. However, just like the Hydra Jellies game, it can be a burden trying to rotate your pieces. Fortunately in my experience, towers of rocks are harder to come crashing down thanks to accidental collision than one made of Jell-O so kudos for that.

You get extra points just for your theming. Visually, it was very pleasing, and I really dig the music. One minor gripe would be the constant sliding of the doors. While its nice once in a while, it happens A LOT, and most players want to get right into the action.

Again, it's good, not the best, but a drastic improvement over others I have played in the genre, so good work. If you make a sequel, make some tweaks to find that perfect formula.
