I guess the next step with this game is to play it along the lines of another fav.. 'the last stand 2'... A lone SAS dude who have to get to a safe destination going from town to town along different routes depending on the choice of the player. Within the town, different houses would bring up different setups for the top down boundaries and walls for the next level of the game. Ammo conservation should be essential till the SAS dude manage to get to the nearest gun store or police station to restock. Weapons however would have to be found and can't be bought directly from shops. AI bot 'survivors' can tag along with empty slots for range weapons, armor and special items like lockpicks and crowbars and the like which is completely up to the player. To even get deeper, bots encountered along the way would have random stats that can be increased through experience performing few specialized task exclusively like repairing barriers, health, accuracy and whatever.
