Reviews for "8-bit loop"

It's not bad, a little surprised that it got daily 2nd. Drums have a nice beat to them, but I find the hi-hat is a bit too harsh on the ears. The main rhythm is alright, but overall I wouldn't say this is 8-bit.

I don't know what programs you're using but I would look up the rules on how to actually make it 8-bit. The one that I remember is that if you want it to be by the dot 8-bit there can't be more then ... 3 (?) sounds at any given time.

Pretty decent for 2am though : p

I know, I alone had 2 other songs I released this week that deserved a weekly 2nd more:/
but that's just the way it is.
It was made with 8 bit sounds, authentic to the snes, except the square lead which was psg, still 8 bit though. I didn't use a tracker or authentic 8 bit program, but I don't really care to learn one to be honest, not that serious into making chiptune.
Thanks:]

Arghh, that hi-hat hurts. Couldn't listen to the whole thing. Sort that shit out.

Daydream-Anatomy responds:

It's 8 bit, deal with it:/

I'm listening on ath-m30's atm, and listened on my desktops studio monitors, doesn't bother me.

Not very impressive, sorry. The synths aren't very 8 bit, and those who are so doesn't sound very good. Also the melodies are very chaotic.

Keep it up, though!

Daydream-Anatomy responds:

The drums are straight from the nes, and the chords are made from oscillating an 8-bit wav.

I used a famico emulator and a sega chip emulator:s

Thanks for the review:3
