Reviews for "Free Board"

good controol scheme but boring after awhile

i love how going left also makes oyu go fight after awhile but it gets sonta annoying to learn how to do it the graohics are ok but it seems so repetitive and i couldnt figure out how to do tricks ow what they did

Yay snowboarding!

Wo great game :)
Love the Freeride mode :D
But I would love it more if you add some preferences. Especially to change the steering keys. I can't drive good because everytime I want to go left I press the right key.
Something like that would be really great in Version 2 :D

But other than that: awesome game. Keep up the good work ;)

Where's the Abominable Snowman?

Part of the goal in Ski Free was to outrun the Abominable Snowman. Also missing:
-The Dogs (hit them too many times and they pee in the snow)
-Dead Bodies? (Some green looking guy who looked dead and became dead if you bumped into him.)
-Dead Trees (If you hit these, the tree would catch fire!)
-Ski Lift (Couldn't ride it, but it was another obsticle. Bonus: Create someone riding the ski lift who acidently is hanging upside down with their butt showing...for humor. Do a Google Search to see what I'm talking about.)
-Other Skiers. (Though this version has it from the snowborader's POV rather than the skier, there should be other skiers who would accidently bump into you and never stop.)

Keep in mind Ski Free never had a sound track. It also never had Snow Bunnies or asshole jocks (see the John Cusack film Better Off Dead or the South Park episode "Asspen".)
There are also no kids in Ski Free to ambush you and throw snowballs at you.
Or a Snow Cat (a vehicle used in snowy conditions.)
Ther are also no avalances or log cabins in Ski Free.

These are just some ideas to kick around that you may want to add in the next version.

But overall, the game does follow the original game's plot of skiing down an endless hill.

ummmmm.......

yeah i kinda got glitched cuz when i went off a jump i tried to put the board straight to like stop when i hit the ground and when i did hit the ground i wuz slightly turned to the left so i wuz going to le left really far and after a while there wuz no trees, rocks, or jumps...

It's a great start!

Very good, although you can definitely expand it, make it more in-depth, maybe even add some kinetic features (e.g. more in-depth board control, the ability to lean with the body, etc.) All in all, a great start, but you should TAKE IT FURTHER!!! Great job =)
