Rofl I remember this game

And there was that snow yeti thing that came out and you could NOT avoid it. Well I don't think you could, I was young then so I sucked at playing games, but either way, I think he was unavoidable. Fun game. I didn't like this version too much however, I felt like most of the time I could let me keyboard go and I wouldn't hit anything. Try maybe adding a score and more obstacles. Make the score work by however long you're playing you gain score, until you hit something, which will then either lower the score or deplete it to 0. And then you get to the end where you can submit your score.

Either way, wasn't bad, just not great. Good job though :D

Perfect!

I'm just as bad at this as I was at Ski Free!

Nostalgic and good on it's own.

Not only a good tribute, but also a fun game in it's own right. Had that skifree feeling, but a bit more bare bones, but the graphics were smooth.

Mys suggestions: add the other elements of skifree to this one, but maybe not identically. For example, the snowman. When the timer runs out, you could have the snowman "unleashed" upon the player. However, you can keep playing and collecting points while staying away from the snowman until you finally hit an obstacle.

Then there's the dog that pees, who I have always affectionately referred to as "Peedog". You don't have to use a peeing dog, but in the original skifree, it served a purpose other than humor; it added variety to the obstacles. The dog was mobile, unlike the trees and rocks, and added an element of entropy to the game. Try to implement a moving obstacle (maybe a mountain goat that runs around taking shits) to add to the variety.

You could also consider different difficulties by allowing players to choose between a few options of beginning time, so beginners will last longer.

Overall, thank you for the game, and I think it would really improve the game even further if you implemented at least a couple of these suggestions.

Needs the snow monster!

Yes I know this isn't supposed to just be a flash version of SkiFree, but seriously... that's what it is. It's awesome. I just wanted a snow monster at the end to hopelessly try to avoid. ;)

Nostalgic

But where's the snowman?
I loved the feel, the detail that went into this, but the zoning camera was a bit nauseating at times, and the scenery got kinda dull after a while. I'm not sure how to fix this, but I'm sure you can come up with something.

Hey, thanks for the review and good suggestions. The scenery is my biggest problem with it as well. I'm going to work on a sequel maybe for next month but probably for next year with levels, customizable riders, and just overall more polish.
