Nice animation!
Okay, I'm giving you a 7 for the good animation, It looked very good and it kind of touched me, yet the whole thing of 'scarecrow' feeling something... isn't working for me... I don't believe in the whole 'everything has a soul' thing so it didn't really touch me that bad...
Only hands up for the animation and music, very good! Story might be good for some to entertain but it didn't do much for me... But the animation and music makes up for it...
I am very depressed that music is sad but...

Your ability to assign emotion to something that doesn't even move throughout the story was brilliant, and up until the tear started forming in the scarecrow's eye, you totally had me. The moment it started "coming to life," the story started to lose originality for me, and by the time he transcended, I had lost interest in the short.

It is very good, but not the best that I've seen out there.
Scarecrows are awesome, and frighting, but with all the stuff they go through, no wonder they always looked so pissed. Concept earned you most of the stars. Instead of going, creepy scarecrow kill random teenagers, you go creepy scarecrow cries. Difference, it makes a change.
What's really great in this animation is that, you gave effort. Really good effort. I like effort, but sometimes effort ain't enough. I was unable to find a replay button... because i wanted to watch it again. But I found a patch of crop that sent me back to the play screen. Becareful with that, because if I press play to different pieces of music will be sounding, and that's bad.
Music, a bit bland, but it came through. It had connection, but it didn't give me enough. I was hoping for it to slow down, or become sad in some way by changing key, but I'm not sure if it's your music so... it's okay. The music also played into the end, but I found again I will say this, I found a patch of green land that sent me back to the starting screen. I am quite saddened, that there was no stop music script in your music layer... because... if I had played that again it would've been annoying. I would have either waited for the music to stop or refresh. In my case our net is slow so refreshing is a lot...

It was a great short, simple and sweet. It shot a clean concept to the audience (audience being me) and I didn't have to think a lot. :) Great flash :)
This review is focusing too much on the technical performance. All I wanted was to present a message in a touching way. You should've have focused on what the movie did with you once you had watched it. Not going on about finding a replay button and if scarecrows are awesome killing machines or not.
Flashes doesn't have to be the best you've seen out there to be good enough. You say that you didn't have to think a lot. That is totally up to you and what parallels you can see and understand. Personally the movies where you don't have to think is movies like the Madness series. This one is certainly made for thinking for those who likes that.
According to you effort isn't good enough sometimes. I am extremely proud of this movie that I spent seven days on totally. Who said this was just about effort?
