Some of these horrors actually resemble the ones that really lurk deep down there... except that most of the real ones don't grow so large.

Yeah, I'm a BIG fan of the deep, I've written pages about it on my site and used to draw what little I knew of its animals when I was hardly in kindergarten, having seen them on National Geographic at the time :)
