This was really fucking awesome.

As much as I liked Raven here, it was like Batman when he tries to fight Supe. Bruce is incredible, in top physical form, a genius and master strategist. But Clark is superhuman. He's virtually invincible.

Raven had great flow and some seriously good lines. His closer was a standout, but it still couldn't compete. Imitating Obsideo was a nice touch and it got him some style points, but...

Obsideo has a unique vocal delivery, on-point rythym and definitely some of the best lyrics I've heard in this competition so far. Everything he said was either hilarious or illustrated really well. Like, as soon as I heard lines, vivid pictures would pop into my head instantly. Raven's just didn't have nearly as much bite or wit, and that's what made it.

Win goes to Obsideo, but I hope Raven goes on for a while.

hahaha. I'd have to give this one to Raven, as much as I liked them both. I laughed a lot harder to Ravens remarks...it could be because of the accent. But it was hilarious regardless.

Wow wow wow. Closest battle I've heard so far in the comp. Props to both MCs for laying it down.

Obsideo did great. The three fans/three hands punch was wicked. The raven/bacon/metaphor/nevermore was delivered with a vengeance. IOU flip on the capitalizing line was good. Strong throughout but didn't really close it well enough at the end of his 2nd 16.

Raven responded aggressively, but his flip about the fans was weak. Followed up with the trap card punch which was good. Table flip/rage quit counter was good. Making fun of his flow was a decent hit. Good delivery on his final hits, but they were kinda predictable rhymes.

Tough, tough decision...REALLY tough. Do I have to? Man...gotta say Raven. Those who go first need to be able to close it.

Obsideo- Had the upside on flow, by a little. No problems with delivery, he came strong and brought some good punches.

Raven- Had some crazy punches. Loved the Whitney Houston line and "Rap battle- Activate/what is that, a trap card" line. He hit the beat on flow, but he sounded a bit soft in some parts of the rap.

All in all it was an amazing battle, really evenly matched. I'm going to have to give the vote to Raven, though. Lyrical content beats out the delivery in this case, I think. Neither of you should have to take a first round exit, but only one can advance.
