simply, fun, effectively
effectively fun, but not particularly stylistically fun. It's got a simple feel and a simply goal. The levels get tighter and the traps trickier but overall it is a straighforward game whose levels are intended to be digested. The music is straight out of A megaman jukebox, or any other classic capcom title.
I had fun, though the jumping made the game easy. Most games give you a double jump, this one gives you the infinite-totem jump. which makes the difficulty in this game about nil. still a fun play, but the longevity in this game is in the level design. Most games that have quick and easy levels, and lots of them, have their appeal in producing anticipation of seeing what the next level will be.
this game exploits that.
