Reviews for "The Clockworker (ft. DI)"

wow the beginning got me :D
your friend must be a genius at making sounds
but the drop... in my opinion it is wayyyy too massive
how about making a dubstep drop a la mt eden? this would fit perfectly to this kinda mysterious and fascinating atmosphere of the track ^^
i'm really curious how the finished track will sound like...

Reali-tGlitch responds:

The bells were me. And the drop is made to be mechanical.

also, I don't particularly care for mt. eden too much. Especially their abomination of Omen by the Prodigy.

An interesting mix; did you make this for a game or other project? It sounds more like a soundtrack piece, rather than a single. I like the juxtaposition of using the bells and toy-like sounds alongside the synths and bass, it definitely sets a slightly creepy yet welcoming tone. Not one of your best, but you may find a lot of potential in the general style; try to play around with this sort of dichotomy in your mixing. I suggest attempting a heavier, much more typical dubstep mix but with the same bell and clock theme...

Reali-tGlitch responds:

It is made almost as part of a soundtrack. It is part of the RG tales, an dubstep series that I will direct the music videos for. It comes down to an ultimate battle of good (The Watcher) vs evil (the Dream Eater). The clockworker gets possessed and is essentially eatne by his creation and joins the Dream Eater's side.
