Reviews for "Santa's Green Dilemma"

about that job.....

seeing teh economy go down and at the end? a line of elves trying to get work? makes sense, all of them got layed off rofl

haha very funny.

i love it. good graphics, great character animation. and good humor. it's a little short but that's how it's meant to be. good work. hope to see more.

with your characters, change the poses a lot more and move their limbs more while they talk. it'll make them even more lovable! merry christmas! this deserves higher than a 4.11...

Ahaha

Hahha this was so funny, and the animation flowed so smoothly you are a very good animator!

DonkeysBazooka responds:

why thank you very much. i am very passionate about good frame-by-frame animation. and even though that walk cycle right after the elf enters santa's office took me about 15 hours (seriously X-C....), i knew i'd be happier with the results than if i just lazily cut him off at the waste so i didn't have to animate the legs.

like wendy's, i don't cut corners. i've learned that the results are more satisfying if the work leading up to them is more painful.

Sick Santa Show

DonkeysBazooka, I really thought that the animation was great, particularly when you inserted clips like the "I Love Harsh Labor Conditions" bit. That, and Santa's facial expressions were priceless. The voice acting complimented the dialogue ("You'll look like sex," was a standout line) nicely; a great deal of laughs derived not only from what was said, but how the person said it.

My one concern is that the ending came a tad abruptly. Santa backhands the elf that was giving him advice, and then -- bam! Unemployment lines, and the end. I would like to see the scene come to a more appropriate close.

A great Christmas short that plays to our tough economic times. Well done. Can't wait to see the rest of your work.

DonkeysBazooka responds:

very nice review. thanks for the compliments. and yes, it does end quite abruptly but that was really the intent from the very beginning. i figured cutting straight to the unemployment line was satisfactory because the user should be able to pretty clearly fill in the blanks. "Santa doesn't like the ideas. BAM! backhand. Here's what happened." End of story.

in 2 weeks?

That fact alone deserves an extra star.
