Seriously needs a warning. I don't suffer from them but it felt like I was about to have one. too much going on.

The background is turn-offable ingame, bottom right. I didn't think it was -that- bad, and my eyes are pretty screwy themselves.

make it a little less difficult and you should put up a warning for sezures

The difficulty curve rises as you play, without it the game would be dull and unchallenging.
As for a seizure warning, a few people have said that, so I'll put one up, but you can turn the background off with the button in the bottom left :)
