The game is very good -- interesting and twisty story, for one, and the minimalistic design is actually fairly endearing; the characters are identified more by their personalities than their looks. They really seemed to pop out, your side or not, and I liked how your "protagonist" wasn't the good one here. I also liked how enemies were just as vulnerable to pits as you were, and knocking the minions in was a good strategy to kill them quickly. The animations were smooth (I especially enjoyed the death one) and the jumping required skill, but wasn't actually frustrating most of the time. I also really enjoyed the fact that every new room was a checkpoint, so it didn't become too tedious even if you died quite a bit. The different styles for the swords were impressive, and I really liked Hawken's weapon as well.
However, there were some very noticeable problems that I came across and a few things I definitely didn't like. Some of the text didn't wrap properly, ending it it being cut off. Certain areas of the game were difficult because the camera didn't zoom out at all or glitched and wouldn't zoom out after the first attempt at it, which made the jumping feel more like fake difficulty. A couple of the words were misspelled as well and it feels like your character is constantly walking on ice with how easily he slips and slides around on the platforms. The rebound from hitting the walls also seemed like a bit much, and made the more precise platforming kind of difficult.
Overall, I really enjoyed the game. It was a unique, interesting experience, and I definitely commend you for making it! It stands on its own better than some commercial games.
