strong start
I thought the way you opened this was awesome. "My names bitter, im a pill". Perfect hardass, dirty hairy-like charachter. You did a great job with the mood of this game.
Although the game itself needs some work. I found the gameplay to be pretty bland. Normally i would give a game like this a 3 or 4 but the opening was just too tight. I found myself making all the way to the first boss before i decided that i didnt like it. I only made it that far just cuz the opening got me so excited to play it.
Ill be looking forward to more of your stuff.

But I just can't shake the feeling I've played this, or something with very similar level design... some NES shooter, I think. Still all and all, cool game.
