Reviews for "Bitter Pill - Level 1"

i dont see why so many people hate this

its a pretty good game, theres nothing wrong with it, its just too short, you need to add more levels.

by the way to all you haters, "on and off" over 10 years could be working on it for a day then leaving it for 6 months at a time. So take it easy

O.K. here it is

All right man you made it obivious that your great at graphics and simple map work. But thats not the problem its the controls and the way you bump off of things, cause theres no gravity on here its understandable. the gun upgade would be cooler if you kept the guns. which leads to the enemies, they look nice but i cant kill some of them with my level 1 laser it takes to long and i die befor them while im trying to get a key. Next on the list as a gamer the z+x is a no-go for me. Combo button presses are for fighting games though its good so you dont press them accidently. Music is the least of your worries but it get repetitive. good but not great, i think you spent to much time on this one and dont let people get you down for dissing this game its a good try.
NP out

Eh..

Not a fan of it, but quality wise it was nice, aesthetically pleasing, and average.
I also didn't like how I would get shocked by enemies blood, or boucne off a wall a million times and get stuck against an enemy.

10 years!!!!! i hope your exadurrating -_-

well... the intro was surely inviting and mysterious but bad controls and dull gameplay wont support that
also it's unoriginal-
basically just another 2D micro mapping game that i could pull up on miniclip :P

It's Ok

It's an O.K game but, as other people have already said, 10 years? I understand it wouldn't have been 10 years of constant work on this game, but it still could have been better.
The control system wasn't great, Z and X should have been replaced by keys that are easier to reach when keeping your thumb on the space bar, ideally for me that would have been A and D.
Although not a incredibly hard game it could have been easier if you didn't get shocked by the enemies blood if you are too close when you kill them. The sound track as well was rather dull although it did fit in with the genre of the game quite well.
That said, the levels were generally well designed and detailed great, as wellt he enemies. I also really liked what ever font you used for the level headings (Level 1, Level 2, etc), what was it?
Overall, a good game but should have been better after 10 years of work.
