Reviews for "W & B : Deadly Strategies"

Superb!

-Regarding the tutorials: Does your voice always sound like that? I think you overdid it a bit there.
-I got impatient with the time between menu screens
-are the percentages really necessary? Wouldn't it be easier to just be able to switch them around in priority from 1 to 6? I like this system though!
-how about upgrading buildings to decrease production time?
-add "restart" button in pause menu
-I would have liked a way to target specific buildings
-too bad your units don't go directly towards the enemy. Instead they take a few steps at a time and stop for a while, presumably to sit down and have a drink or something.
-the general slow pace of the game was also irritating. An option to speed it up would be awesome.

And that's all i'm going to say for now. I only commented on the negative things, but that means that everything else about this game is awesome. Hence the perfect score.

Good job guys.

Regarding the tutorials, it's Joshua Tomar's voice... and no I believe he can put on many different types of voices... but you gotta ask him!

About the system, well, it's never been done before and it's like you are really the commander, telling your troops what to do and they'll listen and do it, instead of playing God, like Warcraft or Red Alert where your units are "part of you" as of they will go wherever you want them to go, and shoot at whatever you want them to shoot... if you know what I mean...

The slow pace of the game cannot be helped... sadly... I tried different programming techniques, different algorithms, increased framerate, still the same. But I believe how fast you can finish a level depends on how good your strategy is. Some testers cannot even beat level 1 but I can beat level one in a few minutes at the so-called "slow pace".

You make good points. It's reviewers like you who make the world a better place. Stay coool!

Awesome Game

Great game. You can defend and attack at the same time!

Awesomeness

Regardless of the flaws that others are nit picking and finding this is an awesome game. Yea there issues but what game does not have issues which may be fixed in an update. Keep chugging along little train. When you get to that bridge that you are aiming for you will look back at these comments and just laugh. Just like I am laughing right now BWHAHAHAHAA. As soon as I saw this game I remembered command and conquer and of course StarCraft... Oh Star Craft man makes me want to play that game right now. Anyway getting back to the shear awesomeness. Since I am seasonal code all I see is code and ai code and logic code and just have to thing damn. This was a project. Also loved checked out the movie or intro for this on your page. I would have to say not bad not bad indeed. As stated earlier keep moving along and just look back and laugh. Laugh at the fact that something are not concievable by others that do not understand. Like a lunatic I have to end with my own laughter. BWAHAHAHAAHAA.

oh greatness

with games like this creating an AI is extreamly difficult, I commend you for vreating such anmazing work! there are some game flaws but over all it works well.

Add some sort of unit control.

In the third chapter, first mission, can you honestly offer any strategy that could consistantly defeat the enemy? I'm sure eventually my troops will wonder close to the enemy, and shoot the right one. But it'll take a lot of tries. There is no AI combination that I can do that will do anything to stop this. My lack of control means I will be defeated. This is poor design. If you ever lose in a game, it should be because you did something wrong, not because your troops spawned the wrong way.

Ah, I won. I thought I was gonna lose that one. I got through with most my troops intact, because I managed to get a biker to stop on an enemy tank. They shot each other. Then all my troops attacked. Unfortunately, they decided to stand still for about twenty seconds in front of the base (not shooting the base or anything) while Reese regenerated. Then he attacked again, and slaughtered my troops. He had 50 health left, I had one biker. And he vanished into thin air. I won by a bug.

Add some sort of control. Majesty pioneered the use of rewards, where you would put a reward on a monster, so your heroes would seek it out. Perhaps you could give an option to drop a scent bomb, that drew your characters? Yeah. And the game is quite poorly balanced. My keyboard is being schizo, so I must stop. But yeah. Fix it.
