Reviews for "Nocturne"

Very good, very polished. I could probably complain about something or other if I really tried (and normally I do for the sake of hoping to help ppl improve) ... but I'm too content with it to do so. Just enjoyed listening to it, and nothing in any way detracted from the enjoyment. Excellent work.

BlazingDragon responds:

Thank you for the kind remarks, skywood. :D I listened to Life, Obstinato and liked what I heard. It's always nice to get a review from another composer.

Again just the type of music I love to hear. I'm a big person for classical music, but I hardly understand a thing about the forms with the letters and all. lol. Anyways I might just have to fav you as an author!

BlazingDragon responds:

Even without knowing all the technical stuff, I think people can enjoy classical music for how deep and emotionally complex it often is. :) Thanks you!

So soft yet powerful; very serene and relaxing. The beauty of this piece is outstanding.

BlazingDragon responds:

Thank you my friend. That is very kind of you! :)

This is really good. Most of the classical stuff I run across on ng is boring with little understanding of how good classical music sounds but this is interesting with some unusual sounds and I really enjoyed it. Only thing I can suggest off the top of my head is to make it longer, expand on that main idea a bit more.

BlazingDragon responds:

Thank you glimmer! I tried to do some harmonically interesting things in this piece like the chord at 1:45. I wonder if that was one of the unusual sounds you heard? Anyway, I don't plan to expand this one (I'm ready to move on!) but I'll think about fleshing out my future pieces more. :)

That was actually a pretty darn enjoyable nocturne :)

Really nice and relaxing piece for that sweet cup of midnight tea.

BlazingDragon responds:

Thanks Halindir! :D

I really like the new classical piece you uploaded (Elenwe). If I remember, I'll drop a review when I have more time. Nice work, though!
