Reviews for "Ytown Public 1 Rock Opera"

cool...

I watchedthe original it sucked real bad and now i think uve gotten better:oh no newton jumped out the window oh fred do u realize he is dead lalala :)

this was hilarious

I laughed my ass off. At first i thought it was going to be lame and gonna blam it. By the way your main chatacter looks like Gabe from Penny Arcade.

McRhyme responds:

Never seen Penny Arcade. Wonder what it is. Never mind! Good thing, you liked it!

all good except for the crappy singing

Your music sucks man, sorry, otherwise it's pretty damn cool

McRhyme responds:

My music does not suck! In this episode the music and lysics are what makes it all so hilarious. I really dig the last song: Oh no! Newton jumped up out the window...

Thanks! You didn't forget to check out the rest, now did you?!

the building block...

so, this was your first Ytown public? i have watched them all before so i thought i would review them. In this particular episode, i can safely say that i liked da sound - pretty funny. Nowhere near as funny as your latter episodes but oh well. damn that music hurt my ears tho. the beggining of this musical was the slight let down - it just want...musical. altogther tho - an cool and original introduction

McRhyme responds:

Well, Ytown Public Original was the first one I made. But it sucks, so I remade that episode and turned it into a rockopera. If you study the two epeides you will find that they share the same plot (almost) and most of the grafics has been recycled.

People nowadays who gave this a bad rating, they have to understand this was nearly 12 years ago!
Flash was not very powerful, looked like crap, and the audio sounded like it was being recorded through a tube. Anyway, this first episode remake from 2002 is OK. Not perfect in content, but it was pretty funny on how it got self aware toward the end. It really sucks the creator hasn't made a movie in 10 years and AT LEAST any activity in 4.

McRhyme responds:

Hey man, thanks for watching Ytown Public. It nice to see that it still gets a few views now and then. You are right: Flash was not so powerful ten years ago. I remember always setting the quality to medium so it would run and lag relative to the sound: Now this not a problem :)
As you point out I made a game some four years ago. It got very bad reviews. Perhaps because it was my first game, and because I still used the same old verison of flash. If you didn't try my game, perhaps you should :D
