What's the point of this game? Who cares? It's strangely enthralling. It reminds me of when I used to play music on Windows Media just for the randomization visual effect...

That was pretty cool (and trippy) however, there were some bugs, like say, Something that's supposed to move in a circle, all of a sudden starts only going in one direction and maybe starts falling or something. Keep up the good work!
Nice effects
I'm assuming the effects are for art only, since it would annoy anybody to death if he/she actually tried to use one of these as a cursor. The one thing I think you should change is the way you change effect. It would be a lot easier to change with the left mouse button, since you already has the hand on the mouse.
