Reviews for "The Piper's Waltz"

Very well done

I'm not really quite sure what I just saw but I liked it. Very professional and cleanly done. Nice job.

epic...

possibly one of the best animations i have seen for a long long time - truly outstanding work.

Really enjoyed the animation (OBVIOUSLY!) but also the style - kooky and cool!

Only criticism is that it could have been longer

Nice feel

Animation had a great feel to it, although the naritive was a little foggy... none the less, great job :D
By the way what did you use to make that? Didn't look like it was all in flash was it :o?

Awesome.

The detail, the music, the everything, looked very awesome.
I actually liked the easter egg more than the actual Pied Piper thing.

Now, about that Pied Piper and my reason for the 9/10 and not a 10/10.

I thought the animation was a little on the short side. Also I thought that, only just a few times, the sound was slightly off. (which shouldn't be my computer since, as you mentioned, it's a video file.)
It might also just have been me, but the quality of the encode (I think it is) could've been somewhat higher. I had it on high quality and it still wasn't that crisp or anything.

Other than that though, the techniques used to make this were done to perfection and I loved the music and the general feel of it. Awesome piece.

Ps: Did anyone else feel like the Easter egg reminded you of The Ring?

Oookaayyy

For the record, I haven't ever heard the English name for the Piper's Waltz. So I was kind of flabbergasted when I actually saw it. Without knowing the actual story, I wouldn't have been able to figure out this whole animation.

It's a great animation though, with lots of things going on. I love how you used everyday materials such a wood and paper. It got a very familiar feeling to it. The music you used was, in my opinion, very suitable and presented your animation with the golden touch.

Well done, but next time, make use of a narrator or something. Because that is quite the only thing I missed here.
