I don't even know how I would handle a situation like this. a boy forced to destroy his idol, a hero the likes of which had never been seen before, if only to preserve the memory of the great being he once was. frankly, if it came down to this, I think sonic would have smiled as he died. as many have said before, "It is better to die young, a free man, than old, a slave to a will not your own."sonic is a free spirit. and to be given back that freedom before he died, I think nothing would have pleased him more. of course tails, I wouldn't even know how you could begin to console him. But his hero was sonic. He'd bounce back.
I loved it. It was so sad!! I watched it 4x and I still keep crying.
