Damn, son.
I don't know what to say. No, this piece isn't exactly to my taste. Guitars and the light drums aren't my thing, I like big orchestral pieces. But that's not really the point, because it's kinda like a soundtrack to a videogame or a good movie (I value videogames higher as storytelling mediums) wherein you don't really listen to it alone and you ought not to analyze it. You listen to it, preferably as an augmentation to another experience.
I drone on. The fact of the matter is, this piece is beautiful. I can't begin to praise your ensemble and the melodies they perform. But the fact that this is not a live-played piece gives even greater praise to the quality and depth of sound with which you forged it.
I keep a list of Newgrounds artists whose work I want to thoroughly explore. That usually takes my noticing their name several times, and probably with a few of their pieces downloaded. This is the first I have ever heard of you. And you didn't just make the list, you jumped to the top. Maybe I'm not an important critic, but damned if it isn't the highest praise I can give. You've earned it.
