Reviews for "Stinky Bean 2"

...

not as good as the 1st one. the first one was more actiony. it couldve had guns like the last one and enemies. also when u move its like in frames sortof if u kno wot i mean its like he takes a step and then stops then takes another step

uhhh.... this isnt right...

what happened to the old shoot em up stinky bean we came to know and love plus whats up with thing thing 4? i know its a bit outdated to go on one road all the time but a logic game? but i guess its allright a 6 o 10

Pretty good but...

Like the others said, this didnt have the sequel theme that the name implied. Also, once I finished all the levels nothing happened. No end scene, no congratulations, nothing. The game kept right on going as if i hadn't finished. One more thing, on the custom level area, cancel didn't exit the code input screen. It was just stuck there and the only way i could get out of it was to close the game and reopen it. Other than that, the game was very well thought out. I had to think long and hard to beat some of these levels.

Bleck...

Why man??? Why???!!! The last one with the shooting was so much fun!!!

I loved that game...

Seeing this though... Sooo unoriginal....

Bring back the sidescroller fun times!!!!

Not that good

Personally I liked the first part better, but this is not reason for the bad score.

Positive
* there is an intro
* it's not plain sokoban, but an extended version with teleporters and transporters
* the graphics all nicely fit the style and the animations are quiet good
* there's a level editor
* there is a pause function with an options dialog
* there is decent music and sfx

Negative
* there is NO outro at all, although one might expect such a thing according to the intro ("if they are all moved onto the monkey pedistals ...") and therefor tries to solve _all_ levels and is annoyed of not getting any reward for that
* there is no help function. actually there's a link to a help website, but you first have to come up with the idea of pressing "P" within a level (and you can't access the menu from the map btw)
* the level editor is definitely not an example of good usability. I don't go into details here but you can find tons of other tile-based level editors which are way more user friendly than this
