Have some tips...
-Add sound effects and music
-Make the graphics a bit more interesting. A one color triangle and a grey background are REALLY dull. At least make some kind of basic ship design.
-Work on the movement, it's really jerky and that's annoying
-If you want to make a good game, you need to add something unique. Powerups, challenges, anything.
It's not bad for a first game. Just work on these things.

I'm sorry, but there are thousands of asteroid remakes on the web, we really do not need more. You did it well though, but it's be done a lot of times before.
Quit at just over 200,000.
The problem with this game is that it's too hard to play correctly (probably impossible) and too easy to beat with a semi-cheat. Hint: if you press one button, then another, the first will be cancelled out. If you press two buttons simultaneously, both controls work. The ship is WAYYYY too unresponsive to beat the game any other way. It's not awful, I mean, at least it works, it's not bad for a first game, certainly. But this is not a very good game. The gfx are fine, but in the future, it's a lot more fun if things move faster, it's good if you can make more than one control work simultaneously in shooters, and probably, the character should be smaller in relation to the size of the playable area.
Pathetic and Easy
Asteriods has been done, dude. No reason to repeat it, and you pretty much raped the concept...and not in a good way. The graphics were ok, but most times you couldn't move and shoot simaeltaneously. The only exception is when you start, you can hold down the fire button and just rotate the ship.
