Very nicely done, 5/5 and 9/10
I love the "bullet hell" styling, and the retro-style graphics of the ships was a nice touch too. I especially like the explosions shaking the screen a bit, adding almost a rumble feel as you play. Great game all around. Slight improvements if you would make a sequel (which, if you could improve on this, would be epic).
~More options to upgrade weapons, something like a spreader to catch more ships, or concentrated shot for more damage, or even tractor beams, so you don't always have to fly out and risk yourself for money.
~Difficulty could be tweaked up a bit, beat the final boss without taking a hit in his bullet patterns.
~Change background graphic and rotate in-game music, the same stuff adds to the repetitiveness of it.
~Perhaps just a touch of story, something else to give it some flair.
All in all, great game and it's definately one for the collections. Keep it up!

Fun and addictive
The visuals were nice, backrounds may need work, boss was difficult, and the upgrades were good.
Suggestions: Selling cards back was brutal, you got less then 10% back when you sold them. Cetection systems needs MAJOR work, I followed a light unit half way across the screen and he didnt die, yet his clone on the other side died after a half second, some units would get an unfair amounts of damage (like several seconds of my maxed out lazers) and be fine, yet their buddy next to them would explode without me focusing on them. The boss fights may be a little balancing too.
Overall I LOVED the game and I think it is one of the best NG has ever seen.
