Eh.
Boring, repetitive, unoriginal, and you spelled "menu" wrong. And yeah, the physics really don't match the pace of play. I can really see how much effort went into this, and I respect that, but it just didn't come together.
Speed of play does not match physics
it just feels sloppy when you have timed obstacles and you're just slugging along, narrowly dodging crap..
It's called a run'n'jump for a reason!
It's just fine. I've only been up to the riverboat level (note, oars do not equal rudders, although you can use one as a rudder), and it's pretty graphically impressive, I thought the textures were put together in an interesting way, the gameplay is fine, the controls are completely intuitive. I'm not sure why people complain about the character sliding.... maybe they've never played super mario brothers. Hint: if you keep running and jumping instead of standing still like a tool, the sliding doesn't matter as much. I've even been so lucky as to jump from midair after slipping off a platform. Fast-twitch and forgiving object boxes ftw.
Good game but there was a glitch
For the end of the teamwork level where the buttons unlocked the next gate, the fat one managed to move through the top gate with no switch pressed down and the main character teleports off the screen. The boat thing was challenging as turning and acceleration were the same but I got through it. I believe the things commentator was referring to on the see saw were handle bars. For the light house tunnel you just need to smash it a bit then crawl.
