i think that the phone is in the pocket of the coat. if the coat has any pockets. because how can you be like 26 years old and dont have a phone!?

well
to be perfectly honest it kinda sucked and made very little sense. like who would be stupid enough to just relax when all that suspicious stuff is going on? personally I would have gone for my gun or a knife at many points during that whole ordeal.
that said maybe you could've made a way to kill the intruder and still die in the process. it would be a bit more satisfying and the title would still work.
