I really liked the look of this game but i thought the controls were frustrating. Would have been much better as a mouse game, where you would just click on the tentacle to make it throw the item.

I loved the game, the art and music is really cool, but I think you should add a dificulty setting. Ex: On easy mode you only have to control 4 tentacles, on medium 6 and on hard you control all 8 hands.

I'm Robin the creator of this game (hence the 10/10 rating!). I'd first like to say a big thank you to Tom and the other Newgrounds guys for featuring it on the front page, and to everyone who's played, rated and reviewed it so far. I'm genuinely interested in your feedback (even the negative stuff!) so keep it coming :) I'd be the first to admit the game is quite fiendishly tricky, but I'm still pretty darn proud of how it looks, sounds, and plays so I'd thought I'd offer some tips to anyone struggling with it...
Use the keys, it makes life much easier.
Look at the colour of the trail behind each item, it indicates which hand it's heading to (from the outside in it goes blue, red, and black).
Play with a friend controlling three hands each, great cooperative/competitive fun.
And if all else fails just concentrate on the bombs and fish, you'll progress more slowly but at least you'll stay alive ;)

but i hated the implementation too much to give a good score. i couldn't tell what hand an object was going to untill the object reached that hand. the colored lines were completely useless (it may be because im red green colorblind, but i dont think so because i could tell the difference between the colors just fine), and you cant catch a bomb with your hand if you throw the previous object out as the bomb is passing over the hand (ie if you throw the object as the bomb reaches your hand, you will not catch the bomb).
i want to give this a good score but i cant cause its unplayable for me.
Fun and Fancy Free
I had a little trouble at first figuring the controls as to what needed to be done (i honestly started clicking the whole damn screen before i figured it out). So maybe a quick tutorial or read through as to how to play? but as soon as i figured it out and started playing, i was having fun and kicking ass. The art and music are especially exceptional.
