A great concept

And handy if peoples tuners are out of batteries, but even by your own admission, the strings are hard to click. What you should do to make it easier is to make the guitar visual closer up, also, go into the movieclips that are the strings, and make an alpha (invisible shape) which is wider behind each string so you dont have to click directly on the string to play it's note. That should solve all your button clicking problems, if you have any questions about this, feel free to ask.

Keep it up

It looks okay, but is too hard to use, snice ths trings are hard to click as you say. I guess tuning my guitar with it would be rather frustrating. Perhaps you can zoom in on the guitar more? It would make a big difference.

TONS of potential..

This actually has A TON of potential man.

IF you could set it up so you could use keys like "ASDF" etc to play certain notes, you could set up a game like rock band VERY easily: except flash version! Sure to be a big hit.

How could it be like rock band? simple..try to hit the right notes of the songs you have prechosen...you could go far with this...if you tried! Good luck!

Nice Drawing of a guitar.

Well I don't have a lot to say about this. The graphics are nice, but the tuner isn't too helpful. It's hard enough to use the computer and hold a guitar at the same time, and because the strings play for a very short time, it's too tedious to play the tones; switch to the guitar; and then again back to the computer for reassuring that your tune is correct.
You could make the strings loop and it will be much easier to tune.

As for this being your first flash, this is nice, and I can see that you have a lot of potential inside you. The guitar drawing is cool, and the background is nice on the eyes.

The drawing's real good, and the idea's good, but you gotta put more in, it feels a lil cut short, should be more in it, also the strings need to be able to be easier to click, maybe a circle pops up when you go over it? I dunno, but yeh, its good.
