Definitely some potential
The presentation and gameplay gives a slight nod to both God of War and Devil May Cry, yet seems like (with a few tweaks and expansions here and there) it is able to carve (no pun intended) a path of its own. Only gripes I have is with the actual gameplay being a bit slow (maybe the framerate???). Apart from that, it still retains some addictive qualities. Good work! :^)
