But really, there's an element of this that goes beyond comedy (with the aide music that fits this purpose perfectly) these flashes seem to represent resisting oppression: he abuses the sheeple to wake them up (and for fun, of course xD) then goes one on one with their "protectors."

I doubt anyone else poses a greater threat to unthinking society, and noticed that every time, the Supervillian is challenged by someone even higher up in the established societal hierarchy (hero figure, president, Pope). I'm looking forward to see where you go next.
