Simply Awesome
One of my favorite flash songs. To me, a flash song is designed for a specific environment including setting, gameplay, and theme. This fit perfectly with the volcano stages, its raw and edgy sound lending the perfect feeling of "the final stretch" to the last stage of an epic adventure that culminates far from home, deep in the forlorn bowels of a fiery volcano. The gameplay was correspondingly intense and this song matched tempo to the adrenaline of the fast paced, concentration-heavy gameplay of the final levels as you square off against the most difficult opponents the game has to offer. And, finally, the theme of the game itself has always had, for me, a sort of relaxing wonderment, a surreal feel represented best by "Purity" and "The Frozen Journey," although it is a recurring effect in the EBF series. At the same time, this meditative calm belies a complex, blood pumping action packed game. This song captures the fundamental calm feeling of the series with the piano, while at the same time never losing sight of its equally powerful energy with the guitar and drums. All in all, the song fits perfectly into the series and environment it is meant for. Great job. I think you're my favorite flash game music artist :).
