The music totally added to the drama. It was purely awesome. I do remember a time where I had my battery die on me before I saved the game... On the last level... 30 long...long levels...
Great concept.
Most of the reviews here really demonstrate the level of intellect on display here at Newgrounds, though. It's not complicated stuff, folks: the way blunt action and sports games preferred by "jocks" have taken over much of the industry is compared to the way those same jocks made the main character's hobby harder to enjoy as a kid. He makes this connection when he realizes how the falling game reminds him of the falling game boy.
Anyway, this is a concept that really hits home for me, and you expressed it quite cleverly here. Props.

well, about the gameboy
ive had mine for 8 years and it hasnt broken no matter how much its gotten hit or dropped accidentally, but i did like the okami refrence, i dont know anyone other than my best friend whos heard of it before... and all my friends are gamers lol
