It seems that when you start at a disadvantage you can't grab the food so you can only hang tight and wait for the viruses to clear out the rest before going after the immune ones.....which I thought was rather lame
Other than that, if you have to add abilities, have them add on top, not bump the whole list from below. I don't want to have my finger over hotkey "1" for speed boost only to find it changed to split cuz I ate something.

Microbe Kombat really isn't all the much like Spore and we didn't intend it to be. There is a similarity or two, but they're really nothing alike. Thanks just the same for the comment and the feedback.

Its an OK game but it needs more vibrant things. Beginning is confusing so I gave up.

Unfortunate
This game could have been cool if there was any strategy involved, but unfortunately, there isn't. Dividing gets you killed immediately, so you can't make an army or anything, and so the only thing you can do is rush for the food to get bigger. The only thing that makes the game difficult is the frustrating way your microbe fails to eat things that aren't in the exact right place at the exact right time. So, overall, not that great.
