Reviews for "Garden Inventor"
nice theme, nothing new
I like the theme change, but other than that there's nothing new that this game brings to the genre.
Improvements:
*More incentive to upgrade. there's no cost effectivness to upgrade your towers. you're better off building two than upgrading one, since with two towers you're effectively doubling the fire-rate, if maintaining the same over-all damage per second. Suggestion: 25 damage tower upgrades to 60 damage (rather than 50)
*Lose the radar. it's extraneous, doesn't really have any strategical use, and slows down frame rates in later levels, or if you're piling up waves.
*More variety in towers: What about area of effect weapons? how about damage over time weapons (fire, poison?), maybe have a vine/root system that pokes up through the ground for a few moments to trap a mob. Vector tower defense has some neat original towers in it.
Would like to see:
*Sand-box mode (ex: See Onslaught 2, maybe a wave editor)
*fun/challenge modes (ex: See Desktop Tower Defense)
*Interest system so that those of us who are frugal get a reward for doing more with less.
Was still entertaining despite being unoriginal though, so you have a good base to build off of.

It is a good game but there is definetly room for improvement
maybe a bit more variety in the towers
