Hmm... different

Okay, so I think that you've certainly produced a flash that was original in concept and animation style, though I can see where you've borrowed from certain genres.

I think that you dragged it out a little much for my particular tastes. I would have recommended that you cut a few of the fight scenes, because the production of a script of about 3 secret moves one after the other just didn't seem right to me. The characters broke the fight up with the conversation pieces, which would flow much better if you could gain a voice artist.

I would also have added a black bar along the base of the screen, to put the subtitles on. Sure, using different colours for the different characters would help to avoid confusion. I think this would allow you to concentrate on the combat to a greater degree.

The other thing that could use a little improvement would be the work on the drawing style - it's pretty good throughout, but the occasional close up and when the ginger lad gets the Phantom of the Opera / Medieval style skull mask, it does show a few minor issues with your drawing style. A little more work here to round off the edges and perhaps add a little shading in (cheekbones?) would be highly beneficial to this piece.

The graphics and the animation were quite simple but it wasn't bad at all, actually, I like this. The drawings were "childish" but I think it add a funny aspect to the flash. As I said, the animation wasn't complex but it was soft and clear. The movements of the characters were smooth, liked it.

It has a lot of action in it and some simple humor which made it funny at times. I liked how this battle started with just a shitty insult, it was very funny. Also I liked the fake credits, it's a good concept. And the round two was a nice addition, though it gets long and a bit "boring" nearly the end, but not a major problem.

The voice that was used at the begining was nice but it's shame that it was the only part with some voice. Please more ! The audio tracks you chose were good and fitted very well the whole flash, good job here.

Overall a good submission, with some good parts and a good style. It could have used more voice though. And last thing, the buttonmon was great =D. Awesome.

I'm impressed. At first I thought this would be another boring fighting flash with bad graphics and bad animations. But you proved me wrong.

Ok, the graphics could be a bit better (especially the backgrounds), but they are decent. The characters look quite good.

The fight scenes are very fluent and the animations here are good. Sometimes it was a bit too fast paced so that the text disappeared too quickly for me to read it.

The choice of music is excellent; the songs fit the flash very well.

I liked how you had those "fake credits" in there. It is a nice little joke.

I liked it a lot. It had violence, weapons, sexy characters..

but nothing really new, in my opinion. It was 'just' another battle between foes, and however you twist and turn it - it's no more than that.

I enjoyed watching though, and I think the graphical side, aswell as the audio was well good.

Overall, I think you achieved the most you could've gotten out of this. Sure you could've made the environment to an incredible graphical level, but other than that no. It just lacks a original plot, and that'll be my advice to you - come up with a good story. You have the potential to be a great artist, just create something nobody else has done before. It's use has been proven again and again and it never fails.

cool thx for the review. Violence, weapons, yea, but sexy characters? lol all the characters i this animation are super deformed. But yea the next time i make an animation i'm definitely gonna create my own story instead of just making a tribute.
