Reviews for "Stickmen fight"

i see...

... a lot of you guys like the ghost fight a lot, right? i mean, it's easy to see that this was your motivation.. i think you should keep trying and someday you will make something really good! this flash was way better than most of the stickman flashs on NG but not the best i've ever seen.. for example: try not to make the one stickman just standing around while the other one moves... make both move at the same time! this would look way better then! good luck!

haha.
faces to seperate the sticks?
you people REALLY don't know much about stick animation :/

I liked the glowing trails on the swords. I can't say much for the rest though. In a notably low fps, and was still choppy...

Also, one of the things that took away from the dignity of the animation is the fact that whenever they were supposed to be standing still, the were kinda wobbling around or something.

Sorry, but having seen (and animating) sticks so much, i know enough to say that with sticks, this doesn't cut it. Sticks are so easy to animate, that they have to be done excessively smooth...

The newgrounders who write reviews but don't actually animate (and therefore don't know the hardships of animation), will not quite understand this.

Stick Animation: 4/10
Effects: 8/10
Fight Coreography: Excessively bland / unoriginal, 3/10
Background: 6/10

All-in-all, it was pretty good.

And remember, although it may seem like it, i'm not trying to bash you. I'm giving you helpful advice, it's just that i always seem to sound like an asshole when writing anything :C

Oh, and don't do imitations.... ghostfight style...
Not many people appreciate them. Come up with something original, and you'll get a much more respectable product.

Thanks!!!

welll......... face it....

ok first off ever thing he has said (the guy bellow me Zedd56) is very right on ever thing i will break it down a bit more ... speed up the frame rate your fps... obviously you can do this cuz you not on 12 fps ... i would say in between 22- and 24...

if not higher you just have to make the movements a bit closer, use the onion skin it is very helpful i never know about it untill i hit it, its on your time line use that its such a help for newer animators but really the main thing you pretty much took an idea that someone had already come up with and compared to this, this sir is crap.

come up with a main character, story line, blah blah blah... another tip for you think of physics and physical movements.

you have the art work skill to make a nice video if you take time with it...
g\l on future projects.... xWRx

zer0hawk9339 responds:

actually i've done this in 18 fps and ofcourse I know about onion skin and atc.Ofcourse you can't do anything without it so thanks about hte coment :)

borderline

Same old sticks, no plot nothing original really, very short, not much to it.

However, theres nothing actually wrong with it- the sounds are good the animation is OK, its got BGM, and quite an interesting background endign vaguely amusing- So, yeah, just.

good idea

yet it's to short it could use alot more action more place and more time to work on it.
