Hmmm, reminded me of a few things.

Well, to begin, the explosions, fire, and other fx looked similar to the old Bionicle MNOLG episodes. The running animations etc, not smooth, but good enough to move the plot along.

A word of advice: These are intelligent beings are they not? I would try and vocalize the sfx a little. Not actually talk, but make each one like they are saying something rather than just *insert bear growl here*. I know you spend a lot of time on animation, but sound effects are important too. The visual isn;t everything. But over all, I would say you did an EXCELLENT job. KUTGW.

well that seemed kind of immature...

What with all the lasers, magic powers, really bad dialogue and repetitive sound effects. It all kind of ended up being like an episode of Dragon Ball Z... or something like that.
But anyway, enough of the negatives, the animation, while a bit choppy at parts, was over all pretty good, and that combined with the great artwork made up for its previously stated faults. I suppoes another reason I'm impressed is that you'v done a good 18 episodes. For someone posting on newgrounds thats quite a rare acheivement, you know, to actually finish a series. Oh and one last thing, you know when that lion thing was all like 'show me how to use the diamond' and then he just ended up beating the crap out the bad guy with it... I think that most people could have figured out that WITHOUT any help from some gay wizard things.
Anyway, good effort overall. I'm not really gonna bother watching the rest, but still, keep it up.

Visually excellent.

I really enjoy the visual aspects of this series - The only thing that stopped me from giving a full 10 is mainly . . . even though theres little dialogue . . . its all a bit on the cliche side. Perhaps a new writer would benefit this totally kick ass series? Great animation though, keep up the great work.
