It rocks!
It was fun, exciting, challenging - everything I could want in a game. (And that was just boot camp.) I played around with Advance Wars once before, but never got into it; now I can appreciate it for the strategic extravaganza it is.

this game is so addictive!!! it is the first time I play anything related to Advanced Wars, the experience was so good I dont want to think what I may have been missing from the original game which fan made version is based on. no reason why DS players are so hooked up to this games.
it kinda reminds me a couple of old turn based RTS , Godzilla Resurrection for NES and Super Conflict for SNES.
If you like turn based strategy you will love this game, and indeed you may feel like going to the nearest store to buy a DS and a copy of Advanced Wars.
Addictive as Fuck
This is a really involved game, dont play it if you dont have a good amount of time to set aside, 'cause you're going to want to play it through, its a lot of fun and very addictive.

I bought the first 2 Advance Wars, but I dont have a DS, so I cant get the others, but, I love those games, they are so, SO good.
This game, is an AWESOME alternative to playing.
The only thing I can really complaine about, is the fact that you dont have to supply your troops with ammo and fuel.
Granted, I like that, but, it kinda takes some from the strategy.
But still, 5/5 and and a 10/10.
Freakin awesome if you like Advace Wars, you'll like this game.
