Advance Wars!!!!
Advance Wars is one of the great essential turn-based strategy games out there along with Civilization and Fire Emblem. Anyone that hasn't played any of these games, should go out and get them. I've beaten all of the Advance Wars games, so I was a bit skeptical about the flash version, but it totally met my standards. The type of strategy that this game favors is exactly my style too, which made it even better. Great game, can't wait for the sequel

Nice game, shame about the AI at times
This is a great game, and is unique even though its based on AW. The gameplay is simple to pick up, and the fact there is no real 'hard counters' means that a player need to deploy a balanced force, other than spamming a single unit. The only weakness is the AI, a problem that AW has. It will often 'dither', moving units back and forth over a area, or will spam Raptors for no real reason, and often make foolish 'kamikazi' attacks (I.E. it repeatly attacks Hunters with Raptors, killing the Raptor while dealing very little damage). Amusingly its plot makes more sense than any of the AW games...
