Reviews for "Journeys of Reemus: Ch.1"

AMAZING

amazing game just amazing actually requires thought i give 10/10 wonderful game plz make sequals!

Great

Another fantastic entry in the Reemus series! It's good to see that you've still managed to avoid the perils of illogical puzzles. The puzzles in this were perhaps slightly easier than in the original, but the same rule of applying game logic as opposed to what WE know still applies. There was slightly more scenes than the original, but I was mildly disapointed that some of them just seemed to be filler, that only required a little click or two with almost no thinking required

It was good that Liam got a little bit of time to shine by himself as he is a great little character. It was also good to see the Slug from The Visitor make an appearance. How are they going to deal with it in this fantasy world?

Another thing that lessened this was the lack of peril. Yes, there was the overboding sense of dread throughout with first the wold then the Death Slugs, but from what I can see, at point is it possible to actually die. That's what I liked about the first entry, if you didn't think things through at certain times, you'd kill yourself and have to start over.

I never mentioned in my review for the original, but it needs saying here, that the music is great and really fits the overall sense of the game. It isn't too overbearing or loud, but sets the tone and atmosphere quite well. Even though the text works fine, is there any chance at some point down the line that Reemus and Liam will get their own voices? It just seems to be the one BIG thing that is lacking from this really polished series. You have all this great artwork and puzzles and humour, but the lack of voices kind of stops you from getting a REAL feel from the characters.

The endings were both great, the traditional mixing colours puzzle was simple enough to work out but still good to put into practice. I like how both endings ended the same, I guess if you're going to have multiple endings in the following chapters they'll have to end in the same way for people who may have only got one ending and say it differs from the opening of your next chapter.

Eagerly anticiipating the next entry in the Reemus series, long may it continue!

lololz!

lol Both endings are hilarious.
Love the Flying Mouse ending. xD

More please! :D

Can't wait for the next in the series!

I really enjoy the Reemus games: great animation, good music, and inventive and funny puzzles. They also seem to be some of the few adventure games I can get all the way through without having to use a walkthrough. I'm just lame like that, I guess. Keep up the good work! By the way: when can we expect the next addition?
