Nice
The day some lazy douche-bag decided to spend real money for a levelled character, or intangible online goods (gold, gil, etc), was the day online gaming started growing cancer. It's not dying because of it, but there's just way too many jerks in the real world trying to profit off intangible gaming world stuff. Ultimately, when all is said and done, some idiot spends like hundreds (if not thousands) of dollars to get pre-advanced characters, but in the end they have nothing. Because whatever game they're playing online won't last forever. It's a fad. And when that fad is over you have nothing to show for it. Who cares if you're like super-top elite online gaming player. You've basically become expert at playing a fad game. It's not a marketable skill, and you have little to show for it when done.
