Cool!!!

This sounds like it was straight out of Roll Away (the Playstation game). Very cool! You are on my favorites list.

Check out some of my work,

TIIIIIIIIGHT!!!!

Excellent blending of the pops and flows. Definatly club worthy. Reminds me of the theme from Shadowrun on the Super NES a little though.

Awesome piece you've got here! A nice, techno-ish piece that I'm pretty sure would get itself into a video game. Fun to listen to, and lots of power in the melodies!

Originality: I've heard a couple of techno-like pieces done for video games, but this stands out in its own way. The first thing that came to mind was the video game Metroid. A lot of styles from previous pieces combined into an awesome showcase.

Originality Score: 21/25

Diversity: Killer transitions, though it bums me out that I didn't hear more to it. It reached a fixed climax, and it didn't seem to get more intense. It might be my preferences getting in the way though...

The melodies seemed to groove quite well with the bass backround. Really a treat to listen to! I defenitely like that ending touch you've added at the end with the "Game Boy-ish" sounding melody, it really added more to this piece in its video game genre. Really a nice choice!

It seems, however, you could have an overall better backround, with more countermelodies and the such. It just didn't seem there.

Diversity Score: 19/25

Clarity: No other noises in the backround that wasn't music, so that's good.

Clarity Score: 25/25

Effort: Tremendous! I can tell that you put a good, solid amount of work into this song. Though it seems you could have done more with the drums, it was really cool to hear the work you put into this.

Effort Score: 24/25

Overall: 89/100

Overall, this was a decent piece to listen to. It had enough to offer the listener a good beginning, middle, and end, making this worth it. Congrats on the good piece!

Thank you muchly for the extraordinarily detailed review! A very effective system of scoring you have there. I think I spent more time on this one than on any of my others... except maybe B2tG/LK2Bw1WMD... I was afraid it was going to slip through the cracks, but, as with B2tG, it's receiving a steady enough increase in downloads. I just wish I hadn't uploaded so many previous versions... in the future I'll wait 'til I'm done with a song before posting.
Once again, thank you for what must have been the most detailed review I've yet received on NG.
