Not bad but not all that good

It alright but the walking SO MUCH WALKING I got to the second mission and i turned it off cos off ALL THE BLOODY WALKING AHHHHHH and when you can only save in the castle so i gave it a 6

SeethingSwarm responds:

Yeah okay I get it. Too much walking. I got that like 300 reviews ago, hehe :)
Sorry you had to turn the game off because of that.
Thanks for the review anyway :)

Good...

It is really complete, but maybe you can change that you have to walk for haour to get somewhere, and a saving point (that would be great, hated when I had to walk again to the castle to save).
Maybe you can include some new combos you'll have to buy, and ones that combine with magic.
That would be AWESOME.

SeethingSwarm responds:

I agree that I did overdo the walking parts. I was aiming for an epic atmospheric feel of journeying, but most people just found it terribly annoying :) Wish my skills were good enough to make more than one savepoint, maybe next time. Glad you liked the game!

Liked it

Nice and complete. It shows how much effort you've put into it. The graphics and animations are what I've liked the best. Oh and the cycling through the day, with sunrises and evenings. And it's no problem that it's not that hard, it had me searching for the witch for some time anyway. There's even a possibility to develop tactics for the enemies, I like that also.

Well, the beginning's a bit slow, although the story animation's cool. If you put lots of scenery to a place, make stuff interactive. Like, the only quest item was that key, it'd be good if other objects were usable. Like reading books, or finding health potion here and there, or some special weapon in the bandit lair etc. Petting the bunnies, or eating them for health :-D or having some equipment put together from collectable pieces. Like those green pests could drop a piece of their skin, and if you collect say 50, you can bring it to a blacksmith for a shield.

For making harder buying the equipment, I'd suggest having less coins obtanable. Not much less, just a bit, so you always have to ponder which piece to buy.
Some more saving points would be great too. Like a tavern, where you have to pay for it, or do some side-quest in return. :-)

Overally, a really good game, good luck with the following ones (I hope at least, that you'll continue making them).
Peace

SeethingSwarm responds:

Yeah man all your ideas are nice. Wish I could have implemented them all into this game, maybe next time. Glad you liked it!
