Reviews for "Click Fest 3"

Smooth like butter dipped in more butter.

What do you look for in a game? A game is like a woman, one cannot have wonderful graphics with horrible gameplay, nor can a great personality ever compete over a girl whose face could be misconstrued as a World of Warcraft character. Don't worry, avid reader, this analogy will soon attempt to make sense.

To be honest with you, when I first clicked on Click Fest 3, I expected some kind of game where there was a fest of clicking (I must be some sort of idiot to think otherwise). I was not disappointed. In fact, along with the smooth gameplay, the sharp graphics and music blew me away, leaving me pumped up to try and test my clicking against the best across the net. Everything was crisp, clean, nothing out of proportion, nothing crazy. This game delivered every element of what it advertised and more. Kudos to Inversecoma for making such a creation.

As for the complaints of this game not being intricate enough, what else did you expect from a game called "Click Fest 3"? A storyline? A deep hero's journeying plot with a deus ex machina and a cathartic ending of the union of two long lost lovers? Of course not! You want a quality game that delivers what it advertises and this game does it flawlessly.
You may ask "But, kind and handsome reviewer, this simply doesn't look like there's a lot of effort placed in the creation of this game!" at which I would reply that "It is usually simplicity that many of the overzealous game developers out there lack." We want something the masses can enjoy, that the hardcore players can compete with and that everyone else can appreciatively appreciate. It is the person who creates the quality product with the simplest means that gain the upper hand in this world and we see a fine example of that.

Even Tic-Tac-Toe may not have been intricate and detail-oriented, but it has enraptured players for centuries.

Umm...well, okay. Honestly, I played this when it was under judgement, and I only gave you a 3/5. I played it all the way through, got 45 seconds. It's not that this was a bad game, I just...really don't think it should have been third place. On the front page, you see all this stuff that probably took people months to make, and not to diss your work, but this was a little too basic for me to think of as a hardcore game. I enjoyed it, but it was a tad repetitive (as, I suppose, it was meant to be), and the graphics were a little bland (though maybe that was the point? harder on the eyes as part of the test?). Either way, though, congrats. Pretty good job, just not what I would have picked for front page.

inversecoma responds:

Does it matter how long you spend on a game? I could spend 5 years making a fancy game where you battle demons in 100 different galaxies, but the gameplay could be boring or the graphics could be nonexistant. Don't tell me that a game is better because it has more time put into it. Okay, maybe this didn't deserve 3rd place, but don't give me the "effort = 5/5!" bs. And I never said it was a hardcore game, and it should never be thought of as a hardcore game. It's small and quick and fun (for most). I respect your opinion and all that, and of course I am going to defend my own game, so don't take any of it personally. Peace.

clickity click

umm... my arm hurts

boff...

no much i could say about it...its only clicking...its not a game where u get addicted

lil too hard for me

im not too sure if i like the game too much because i am very slow with this kind of thing but thats a personel problem and shouldnt mean just cuz i suck its not a good game im suprised about the game i should give ten stars but the high scores pissed me off cuz its not real fair when people cheat and ruin a good game
