Good Game

Not too bad. I had fun with it for a while. Very good idea for choosing what class you want to be. Somewhat boring gameplay and simple, but simple isn't bad. Could use some work and could be an awesome game. Good job man.

Just a 5?? No way!

How can you write this as a 5? It's a great game, better than most out there.

Great Game

0. Hello Bandaro.

1. Good Points:
* Gameplay. The mix of the retro side scrolling games with familiar RPG elements proved to be a nice touch. At first I've been a bit skeptical that the premise was a bit too ambitious but it turned out nice. The addition of several classes definitely increase replayability. A few more skills could have been a plus though.
* Graphics. The graphics were nice. It didn't need to be flashy. It just needed to serve it's purpose. Economical. Great job.

2. (Not so) Good Points:
* SFX. Not remarkable at all. With prolonged exposure, it's kind of annoying.
* Physics. I found some glitches with this one. An enemy doesn't hit the player even at point blank range. Player hits enemy from a long distance. Etc..

3. Bad Points:
* The organization of the user manual / instructions / how to play was just awful. Very disorganized and very confusing. Maybe it could have been color-coded or have utilized several pages to provide a clearer instruction. Any modification would be a plus.

4. Good job.

Pretty good.

I like these types of games. Maybe more cash in the 1st level. Good stuff overall, good characters, game play etc.

I thought this was pretty good

Certainly deserves more than 2.89/5!!

The gameplay was quite '80s, but I thought this was intentional as the starting/ending sequences seem to be made to match that.

And I found the level of difficulty just right. Maybe a tad too hard for some... but if you're deliberate and methodical enough, you can beat this game.

Gunsmith was the easiest to use due to his range, followed by bandit who had great quickness. Haven't really tried the other characters to beat the game yet. A trick/cheat/glitch is to stay at the VERY top of the screen most of the time. You'll notice that it's much harder for the ranged guys to hit you.

One thing that can be improved is the music. It's not '80s enough. Gotta be more melodic and cheesy than that. Also, in the upgrade screen, the fonts of the stats of the character are so big that I couldn't see the bottom 1/4 of the characters... so I couldn't really tell between 1.7 and 17.

Although it's more like a tribute to old style games and is not the most original thing (let's face it. How many things here are actually original?), I can see that a tremendous amount of effort and thoughts being put into the game.

All in all, I think this is a very nice piece of work, and I hope the creator of this game will not be discouraged by the less-than-positive feedback.
